What's Happening at CAL
CAL is excited to be participating in Poem City this coming April! We are planning a Poetry SLAM for kids on Saturday April 29th. We will be hosting a couple of workshops the week before to encourage kids to come write and be a part of this cool event. Stay tuned for more details. Geof Hewitt and Newton Baker will be hosting this event through River Rock School.
Rise Up Singing!
This winter, CAL initiates a new Song Circle, a community singalong. The first Sunday evening of each month @CAL, you are invited to participate in a gathering to sing new and old favorites from Rise Up Singing. From 6-8pm in the west wing (enter CAL from driveway entry, up 1/2 a flight of stairs, turn right, Room 109 is just past the lounge on the right). Donations appreciated but not required.
Song Circle coordinators are Montpelier residents Jacob and Gretta Stone, experienced song leaders and enthusiastic community musicians who love to sing. We plan to share leadership of the Circles and are open to all suggestions. Any specific questions? Call us at CAL or email the coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us on Sunday, March 5th, 6-8pm @CAL, Room 109
This event is part of Vermont Arts 2017, a project of the Vermont Arts Council http://www.vermontartscouncil.org
